Abstract There are a number of statistical software tools available for use via the web. A brief survey of the pros and cons associated with the different types of tools will be given. A detailed discussion of StatCrunch will be provided. StatCrunch is a statistical software package freely available at www.statcrunch.com. The package, which runs within the context of a web browser, offers a number of standard statistical analysis routines and features some unique components, such as interactive graphics. The discussion will focus on how the StatCrunch tool can be implemented within an industrial setting to provide users with easy access to data and the software to analyze it.
